Flying down lunch time on saturday.

Anyone else taking advantage of the $20 tickets?

Can't get any on Ticketek, looks like they might have all be snapped up by Sid Foggs or the like.

Cat 1's or Cat 3's left.

I think the first 20 is going to be so important. I think if we come out like we did against the Storm the Roosters will struggle to get up to pace without getting flustered in the process.

Does anyone know who was missing for us when we played them last? I know Willie played about a quarter of the game.

We weren't playing anywhere as well then as we are now.

Coupled with the fact that the refs gave them enormous latitude in the play the ball.

We are a big chance.

We didn't have Snowy that day, and Tets was starting instead of Fa'alogo (no McKinnon, basically). We also had Gower playing that day.

We played awful the last time we met them. Full of errors. Things like the jennings intercept killed us. We are so much better now. We were missing Snowden which we've obviously grown accustomed too since and Mason went off injured.

Despite all this we were in that game 12-16 with 10 to play when Mullen went off injured from memory. And we started finding success down the Roosters left edge through Leulia and McManus in the second half. Leulia could be who wins this game for us.

I am growing more and more confident by the hour. By game day i will fully expect a victory. There is something about us at the moment. Experience packed mixed with x-factor backline combined with self belief... that shit is finals magic.

If anyone is coming down for the game and staying the night in Sydney, the NSW Cup team are playing their Grand Final qualifier at Leichhardt Oval at 1pm, it's also being broadcast on Fox Sports 1.

We've got the league world buzzing a bit again... and I never thought I'd see it again, but we're suddenly everyone's second team in this finals series.

I was stunned when we were tagged Benny's boys on Nine news and Triple M in brisbane. The excitement from the presenters was hilarious. We have become a Queensland team. I'm not sure whether to be happy or sad about it tbh.

Yep looks like they're gone. When you select the category they show as $55.

You guys are amazing, obsessing with Mitchell Pearce.

Have any of you actually watched Sonny Bill Williams play this year? How about Michael Jennings (who replaced B.J. Leilua, may I remind you)? He is lightning fast and has only ever been run down by Shaun Johnson (fastest half in the NRL) and Josh Morris. How about James Maloney, the first choice field kicker and goal kicker? He is immaculate with boot and in creating openings for support players. The wingers are Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and Daniel Toupou, two of the best wing talents in the competition. Full back Anthony Minichiello is as safe as a bank in defence and under the high ball.

The forwards with big go forward are Jared Whaerea-Hargreaves and Sam Moa. Backing them up are Luke O'Donnell and Martin Kennedy. The back rowers are terrific, not only the maestro SBW, but also Mitch Aubusson, Aiden Guerra and Frank-Paul Nu'uasala. And the forwards back row may even include the hitherto injured State of Origin debutante Boyd Cordner. Then don't forget the immensely talented hooker Jake Friend, who is arguably one of the top 5 hookers in the NRL. Also watch his sub, the very good Daniel Mortimer.

Fact is that with the Roosters team there is great talent all over the park. It will require all the talents of the two flying Fijians -- Uate and Naiqama -- to keep the Knights even close to the Roosters. To be honest, I can't see even a close game happening.
Would your opinion change if Craig gower plays?

I'm leaning more towards shocked and appalled, because I do not want Wally and Gravelmouth in our corner.

The main area that the knights need to improve on from last week, is their ability to get repeat sets. I lost count of how many times the ball was brought out to the 20 after the ball rolled dead in goal. If we can get that aspect right, then we are a good shot at winning this.

Good luck Knights!

Interesting. Your left edge tore the roosters right edge up and it's our left edge that is on fire this year. Also you took the penalty goal everytime the roosters coughed up a penalty in their half.

We may just have to employ the same tactics as your boys. And with all due respect the Sharks fell away a bit, don't think we will if we get to such a lead.

There is a common theme in Roosters losses this year - their right edge defence breaks down. Boyd, Roberts and Leulia, over to you.

Watching that just gives me that much more hope.

Sure the Roosters are in the prelim and played a great game to get there, but that doesn't mean they'll play at the same level or be unstoppable.

I think our left edge attack will cause them plenty of headaches.

Of course. Craig Gower would provide an element of unpredictability to the attack, and a carefully crafted field kicking game that could put the Roosters defence on the back foot at times.

What a pity that he is unlikely to play, because of his injured neck.

At times? Mate I don't know if that's a typo or what because that should no doubt read at all times. A lucky rabbits foot isn't what Newcastle need, it's a lucky Gower foot.

The Sharks seem to have a better record when Paul Gallen is injured. The rest of the team know they have to step up when Gal isn't there. That's the same for the Knights with their talismanic leader, Craig Gower. It's the only way to explain the recent rich vein of form.
