Don't know about this year but over 2013/14/15 we got more penalties that the opposition and won the count over 60% of the time.

I don't really see a point playing Randell at 5/8. The only thing we are in contention for this year is the spoon. I could understand if it was late in the season and we were borderline top 8. There is no point playing someone there who will never be a permanent solution. May as well blood someone who Brown see's as a future NRL player. Whether that is Pearsall or Lamb, I dont care. Keep levi on for the majority of the game, Randell can help the halves by coming on as a lock.

I tend to agree with this except for one aspect...Randell will equal (if not exceed) Mullen's contribution in defence - whilst he is rightly maligned for many aspects of his game, Mullen is one of the best defensive 5/8ths in the game for mine and Pearsall or Lamb (or even Feeney) will not be anywhere near the same standard on that front.

I'm not saying don't blood somebody (I expect Pearsall has his head in front at the moment) but I do think that is a defensive deficiency we will have to wear if Brown goes down that track

Pearsall at 6 with Lamb on an extended bench. Pat for Pete. No mention of Mamo in any grade.
King dropped for Pauli Pauli. Stockwell and Paea on extended bench.

Just on Stockwell - I know some were asking if he was on the outer when not selected over the last few weeks...he did warm up on Monday in number 19 but I forgot to mention when this came up last week that I spoke to him on the fence after the Tigers game and he said he hurt his shoulder but wasn't sure exactly what was wrong but he said it was pretty sore...I was actually asking how his arm (bicep) was at the time but he thought I was talking about an injury he'd picked up in the game.

So it seems that they are just managing it as a precaution rather than him being out of favour, so I expect he is physically right to play if needed now

A bicep injury can present as a shoulder injury.
I don't think Stockwell is on the outer at all. I'd love to seem him get a run in the backrow ahead of T Sims (who has offered sweet f**k all since returning).

^^ I agree with Ross at fullback. Checking on his background seems fullback has been his main position. He'd have the skills and there's no waiting to see if Gagai learns the trade.

People have been continually shitting on Ross. I think he's been great, easily our best back. Would love to see him get a crack at that fullback spot.

But putting Ross at FB puts Gags back in the centres. I guess our attack is a bit better but defensively...ugh.

If Gagai goes back to centre we need a fwd out there who can play wide.
Some strength out there in defence and attack.
In attack Gags comes in and gets wrapped up with 3 players around him. Uate gets left out wide in the cold.
A fwd inside Gags in attack would help him out and hopefully put him into space.
We don't seem to have a fwd that can run wide like that - yet.
Plus we need a fwd who can cover for an injured back.
Regardless of where Gagai plays he needs to work on his defence.

I'd put gags on Ross' vacant wing spot.
Pat and Sione centres, with Pete swapping with Pat when he's fit

We know Mamo is likely to get a run. I thought he might suit centre but buying Pete rules that out except now that Pete is injured.
No way I'd want to lose Ross for Mamo but I reckon Mamo deserves another shot. If he fails then ditch him.
