So is Salmon potentially a first grader in the near future?

If there was ever a time to blood some youth i would say now is the time.
Where are you playing him? He’s not replacing Moses or Norman, he’s too
small for an edge forward and defensively he wouldn’t be up to playing centre in the NRL.

I wouldn't be touching our halves, like I said before least of our problems.

What is his actual position? If he is too small for edge forward then he won't be playing FG as a half anytime soon either.

I say f**k it, throw Salmon in at hooker... Might be even better than Gutherson would be there!!
unlikely better than gutho at hooker

but a bit of utility value off the bench .... if things went bad he could at least cover a few positions

He is a half I reckon. He doesn’t need to be as big as an edge forward to play in the halves (eg. moses) but he isn’t going to displace either of our current halves anytime soon. Perhaps if they get injured or a utility off the bench could be a possibility.

He clearly has skill, I reckon eventually blooding him in FG as a utility could work and add something different to our team.

Who knows but from all reports and clearly yesterday the kid can play and very well could have a future.

The Kenny Edwards position? Except without covering middle forward. And less dickheadedness off field

Is he to small for edge? He is listed as 186cm and 92kg so is a bit light but he will put on a few kgs. But he is similar to size to Wade Graham (186cm / 96kg ) and Josh Jackson (180cm / 99kg) both who are origin reps.

Additionally if he can defend in the halves, he should have the ability to defend at centre considering his size.

I’d say he and Dylan Brown will be fighting to replace whichever is the most expensive out of Moses and Norman in 2020.

Physically he's big enough to play first grade right now, attack wise I'd say he is good enough to play limited minutes this year. I thought his reading in defence could've been better, was good enough for the most part. This is the only game I've seen him play in ISP after only seeing him play 1 game in Flegg so that's only a small viewing.

Fair enough, but I don’t think you can trust those figures. I’d be gobsmacked if Salmon is only 4kg lighter than Wade Graham

I thought Norman was being swapped with Junior... wasn't that the goss in the papers a few weeks back?
