Hahaha, this site is so toxic
Hahaha, this site is so toxic
Salmon hasn’t done much wrong beside from a few bad 5th tackles options I really like what he has been doing in reserve grade considering he can still play two years of Flegg.
Nar, wouldn’t know the kid from a bar of soap, but he is one of the more talented juniors we have had in a while and all you do if put him down, just my opinion mate.
FFS!!!
Merkin
In a perfect world where such decisions had nothing to do with form or potential I'd strongly agree. Regretably the NRL is no such perfect world.Releasing a player because they racially vilified an opposition player is not admitting it was a poor recruitment decision, it shows that the club doesn't stand for racism.
I’m a product of my environment.Lift your game merkin! I say it from a position of...well, not love. Maybe like, slightly less loathing than I have for most of these miserable tossers...?
Maybe he wasn’t considered to be good enough. We could’ve been chasing another hooker for the development squad. But why wasn't he in the dev squad we have Cam King and Pritchard in front of him & likely not to keep Cam King...
If Maloney and SBW can chase the money instead of staying at the Roosters why not any of their other players?I can agree to disagree.
Like we did with Kenny Edwards or are allegedly trying to do with Corey Norman?Sack Evans without so much as a warning? Not a chance in hell. Regardless, what a massive admission it would be that the guy is no good and is never going to be any good. Would make those responsible for his signing look like absolute idiots. Id guess we would keep him to save face rather than admit we got it wrong.
Um yeah! I think we agree.Like we did with Kenny Edwards or are allegedly trying to do with Corey Norman?
Clubs release players all the time. Usually it’s just because they became surplus to requirements. It’s not an admission of anything. It’s just business.
I say what i see.
Its the same with Salmon also. But i dont see you jumping to Salmon defence. Maybe iv hit a nerve and Mahoney is a good friend or family member. If you dont like opinions maybe jump on another forum buddy where you wont get offended.
Nothing personal here from me champ. I wasnt the one quoting he wont make the Nrl. Maybe have a read of the comments & my reply. Its a forum for people to talk and point out likes and dislikes of a player. Maybe im not the one related "You are as you seem to be taking this personal. If you dont like people's opinions maybe go read other forums.
As for your comment he will be the next Parramatta hooker, That maybe so. Good luck to the kid. Iv only pointed out things in his game he needs to work on. Yet in other paragraphs im the one giving praise to him and i was the one who mentioned put some better players around him and forwards who can lay a platform.
So maybe dont take things personal and actually have a read of what i said.!

Leaders cost money and you don’t need a squad full of them. You just need enough leaders to motivate the followers in the squad. The fewer leaders you have the more you need, which means you might need to shell out some cash. One thing you need to judge guys on is spirit. Alvaro, Gutherson,Kaysa,Gower,Taka for example have huge spirits.
Forget how good a player is for a second. What do ypu see in Kane Evans spirit wise. Do you see a leader? Do you see a guy who wants to give his all every week and win at any cost?
Personaly I dont. I see a guy who just happy to play some footy. He is talented and maybe one day before its to late he will develop a killer winning spirit. But guys like Loko or Mateo who had far more talent then K.Evans never reached potential due to lacking spirit.
Reminds me of VAVE.

As for Evans vs Loko, both are born in ‘92 but one has played 74 games for a club that is never desperate. The other played 23 games for Parramatta.
Kaysa will always get injured while he plays BAs tough style of footy.
