I reckon the coaching staff judgement of his ability is pretty clear, by not giving him a top 30 contract or even development contract (where we have a spot) only a second tier deal…..and they didn’t even pick him for the first few weeks in NSW cup…
I didn't question them. If they're trying to convert him to a dummy half it would be for a good reason. He must have some potential. He's just not a utility.

No they clearly think he's 'the answer' and if he turns out to never be a first grader that means they were wrong and we told them so.
Yates can't play in the halves. Yesterday he played dummy half with Hands (an actual utility) playing at 6.
So why was Jakey boy on the bench in rounds 1 and 2???

Kenny playing mostly two positions doesn’t make him a utility. Playing lock at 40 doesn’t count either.
Geez you guys are obsessed with Jake picked on the bench as reserve half. You can see BA is like the duck saying ~ Calm on top but paddling like hell underwater ~ trying solve the utility problem whilst we have so many injuries. Yet you won't let it go.
