I just watched NSW cup. We have a lot of good prospects in Rowell, Ellie El, Emu, Hands, Cini and Yates.

Hands and Yates both look like natural footy players.

A sprinkling of flegg players shows that we have some nice depth in the middles coming through.

What do you think about Jack ?

He’s 25 and played for I think 4 NSW Cup clubs now.

If we had less injuries in the Top 30, he’d be playing Ron Massey for Wenty. That’s my view. At the moment he doesn’t make the side when we have a spine of Perham, Rankin, Arthur, Rein.

I also reckon he won’t be at the club next year as Dantoray will take his spot, with Ethan Sanders (very young), hot on his heels.

Probably controversial but comparing Jakes game in the 2s last week to Jacks this week I reckon young Gaz looked far more dangerous. Now dont bite my head off but thats how I saw it.
Captain Rankin still rules either way.

NSW round 7…..Williams makes 8 runs for 51 m, no LBA no TA, he looks dangerous…..

NSW cup round 6……JA makes 16 runs for 136m, 1 LBA 2 TA, he looks average, didn’t do much….

just reckon we judge JA a lot harder then most other cup players cause of his name…and we forget he is only 19…

I prefer to judge on what I see. Williams is not our future granted but I reckon hes going ok. Im not saying hes NRL material but he is nippy and was around the ball. Jakes 2 TAs were off a 1 meter forward pass, nice attempt though, and a kick that rebounded twice before an Eel fell on the loose ball. I was expecting Jake to rule in that game against the cellar dwellers but he was very slow and looked a mile off the pace. Rankin has always run that team and I was excited to see him at fullback so Jake could take control. I have seen him play better but that performance was poor. Given recent surgery he looked very under done. Needless to say I was somewhat surprised when he was elevated after that game.

Yes but he's not in our Top 16. BA only uses 17th man if there is an injury (or last week he gave Carty 15 mins when we were 30+.

They never stand out in any grade. It’s almost a cliche that fans don’t notice those players who do the one percenters. But they are valued by their team mates. Things like running a support line to draw defenders away or making that extra effort to get around a ball runner’s ankles as defenders try to wrestle him to the ground. It’s not all about the flashy shit.

Anyone else think "Sivo" when young Komalafe took that intercept with only the try line in front of him and he was run down within 10 meters? I see he is being referred to as a "speedster" in the media. The kid appears to have a knack of getting over the stripe but a speedster? I dont thing so. Is Naduki faster?

Naiduki is built more like Sivo and far stronger.
