You might be right but I'd be very surprised of he was in first grade this year. they are def fast tracking him. I just hope they don't put him up to early, just like pricky Stuart did to Albert Kelly. My guess 2016 he will play first grade and that's if he lasts at wenty for the rest of the year. If
He can show that he can handle it, then I think he's got The job for Next year. (Just quietly I can't believe we are talking about next year at this stage of the season,
Sad state of Affairs)

Yeah it's a fine line bringing rookies into first grade.
But from what I've seen so far of him, he looks like he would handle first grade next year.

Yeah tell me about it, but I guess all businesses plan in advance. Rugby league clubs are definetly a business now.

Can't keep having weeks where we lose all 3 grades.
The change had to come, unfortunately a couple of injuries have probably kept BA from making more changes and the flow in effect happening.

I'm just glad that players are finally being held accountable.
Luke Kelly isn't a good player by any means, but Sandow has been given his chances and squandered them. We can't keep excusing his form because we've got no one better. It just gives him the excuse to not work on his game to get better.

I'm hoping that Kelly is a smokescreen and we get to see one of our younger blokes getting a start. ZDC or Matterson would be better than Kelly, surely.

ZDC is probably the worst halfback option at the club.
He reminds me a lot of Issac Luke. Luke was playing half for
bulldogs Flegg side waaaaay back. But he was utterly shite. You could
Tell he had a strong running game etc but no vision no plan. Bulldogs released him to Souths and the rest is history Souths knew he'd make a great hooker. Same as ZDC, AWFUL halfback but could be a decent hooker....

I can't see French playing NRL at this stage, he's not ready. Don't want to rush the kid and damage his confidence. Let him have some runs at NSW cup level and see how he handles that. Docker-Clay is not going to make it as a halfback, dummy half is his best chance at progressing. And Matterson isnt ready yet either, he was dropped to Sydney Shield just recently wasnt he. He hasnt shown much in NSW cup this year thus far. He needs to develop his game. I still think he's better suited to lock. Just my opinion. I'd like to see Jack Madden given a run at halfback in NSW cup to get a better look at what he can do.

Very keen to see French play against bigger bodies especially in defence. Got no doubt offensively he will be fine but his defence may need work.

I've seen enough of him to say he definitely is a star but I don't want to see us rush him and it gets the better of him.

Having him in a spine with a player like Foran and building a combination quickly (from round 1 2016) may be good for him as Foran would probably guide him pretty well.

Putting him up with our spine at the moment would be detrimental to his development imo

Yep that's a good point, I still question the Kelly selection. I don't think Sandow has been playing bad enough to have Kelly in front of him. But I hope i'm proven wrong on the weekend.

In regaurds to BEVAN - A lot can happen in 12 mths. Sure he may not be ready today but in 12mths he may gain 5-6 kgs and his game becomes good enough to play first grade. He may still be 3-4 yrs away from his peak but may still be better than Robo next year.

ZDC i think is viewed as a hooker and as a hooker only. If the club saw him as a halfback they would put him there at wenty.Id say he plays halfback at Under 20's to help the team out and also gives him a bit more of a leadership role and practise on his skills set.
Can he make it as a hooker in the NRL? Well his strength is his running game-Has great feet and supports better than de gois and peats. Sure he is same height as sandow but 8kgs heavier. Im not sure how he would handle NRL. I think he would be ok as a impact player like we used PJ marsh.Would be quite dynamic .But doubt he will be an 80min starting NRL hooker.
