There is no consistency between teams from one week to the next. Reserve grade isn’t just impacted by its own injuries and suspensions, it is also affected by player availability in the NRL side.

Add to that the fact reserve grade is used to develop and test high potential juniors, and results just don’t matter to the clubs. They prefer to win, obviously, but the NRL side is the focus.

Yeah and wasn't replaced. My point is he makes the NSW CUP starting side amd was a top 30 player.

This is perhaps a factor in why he won't really be missed in our club.

The problem was we were nobbling Hands' development/improvement in the interest of MArthur - and the failed Lussick experiment - and it looks like we don't have an NRL hooker prospect for next year or two.

But we do in Hands, and can look to the next junior hooker (or buy one in) to come in as #9 in the Cup/development position.
