You can think that all you want, but the question has to be production costs.

It something I looked at a while back when I thought a service like BarTV wasn't coming though, what would it cost for the camera, camera operator, production (scores and the like) commentators (sometimes), connection costs (high speed ultra reliable internet to platform). It's not like someone can do this on their iPhone on the cheep

Yep. It would have to be subsidised by the NRL. My question would be how much are they making from subscribers. I can't imagine there are many. My guess is maybe a few thousand.

So that is the next question and leads to questions to these organisations.

Should the game start its own production company to get this content out, and then who is willing to pay how much for that content.

The NRL subsidising it, that is something that could have come up during the last rights deal when the NRL had its own media department.

One of the worst injuries seen from 1 horrible tackle made by his sisters BF at the time...
Such a s%$%&@* tackle...
He would be on minimum but needs a change of good fortune...in his limited games was always poking his head through the line and would make almost 10m a hitup...get back on the field Hayze

Maybe Ryles doesn't see Simonssen as a centre...? And/or Russell is higher on the pecking order.

He'd have to be next man up into the NRL backline though (centre or winger) if injury strikes, or when Lomax gets picked as a rep winger.

He wouldn't be on minimum. I'd say 250-300k. He was looking decent.

As far as a comeback.He accelerates like a bus. I can't see it. Hope I am wrong and something changed since last season.

Parker getting jumped by Pryke is strange Parker has been good.

Pryke is a couple of years younger and also a full time footballer, so the expectation would be that he will overtake Parker.

But also, Parker came off the bench last week and played longer minutes than Pryke, so I wouldn't say starting necessarily means a middle forward is ahead in the pecking order. Pryke might just be there to tackle while Matterson and Mataele take most of the runs. Then Parker will come on and pick up the attacking load.
