Agree Hawkins was probably the best player yesterday. Our forwards were decent.

Dick needs to develop his step and palming as he got th ball a few times outside his defender but never took advantage of it. His defense was solid though..

Watching the players in CUP is weird I watched a bit of Lehi Hopa CUP before he made the NRL at Blacktown and he was not good at all but comes into he NRL and is playing good footy...

The NRL backups need to stay match fit more than we need a bunch of part timers to gain experience. These Flegg-eligible merkins have all played NSW Cup this year and just weren't up to scratch:

Trown (21)
Lynn (21)
Munter (21)

More successful were Alameddine (20) and Tuivaiti (20), who were good in their single appearance, while Lokeni (21) was decent in two games.

Finally, these merkins have been good to very good in at least five appearances:

Twidle (21)
Nanva (21)
Penisini (20)
Guymer (21)
Pryke (21)

Joash Papalii (21) has been dominant at this level, hence his promotion, even though we don't really have a place for him in the NRL side. He's not a middle defender, but dummy half is the only option for him.
