For a person that goes on about facts. He got 1 try and a try assist.

The fact that you write him off means that he will be a great player. You are just as shite as the the blokes in TCT who NFI. They’ve ruined so many careers lol
Stags was talking about Hunter’s defence. He missed nine tackles. But I agree he is a decent attacking player. If he can fix his defence he could become a first grader. He still has time on his side. Playing reserve grade at 21 is a good sign, but Papalii is playing first grade at the same age. It’s even more impressive.

I'm less concerned about individual defence particularly the young ones given we now have coaching commitment to improve players individually and as a team.
Who would have thought Talagi could be an effective defensive player. Ivan Cleary did.

It's f**king weird that we're playing NSW Cup after NRL this week.

Will the NRL side hold high hands and make a tunnel for them ?
Well it maybe about to be get weirder in our last 2 x sunday arvo commbank games against Cows & Knights.

The NRLW side play at 6:15pm after we play Cowboys and Knights in First grade at 4pm those arvos.

10th August v Cows @ 6:15pm after Cows FG game
7th September v Tigers @ 6:15pm after Knights FG game

Put him on the shop window with a PO clause. Talk about amateur hour
The shop window where everyone could see he couldn’t tackle? He was already on every NRL club’s radar, since at least SG Ball. That’s why he wouldn’t sign an extension. So he was off contract when he wanted to be. It had nothing to do with the PO. It’s the same reason Isaiya Katoa left Penrith. Player options and shop windows in the NRL have nothing to do with it. Every club scouts the lower grades and that’s why the Dolphins were willing to throw an NRL sized contract at Katoa. It was the same with Talagi. If we thought he was going to play NRL, so did every other club. That’s why he agreed to a PO instead of a long contract. There is high demand for these kids, and he wasn’t going to be happy sitting in reserve grade behind Dylan Brown, any more than Katoa was going to be happy waiting for Luai to leave.
