are you seriously taking the piss?
Lorenzo disappointing.
Talataina did a job, thought his defence was OK and he played more as a link which will help his game overall. Certainly wouldn’t describe his game as disappointing.are you seriously taking the piss?

He’s big enough alongside other halvesHow big is he? Footage I seen he looked the size of a milk bottle. Has he grown at all?
He looked smaller then Joash tbh which concerned me
He wasn’t that great today. Are you blind ? Did he have a good game?are you seriously taking the piss?

I’m sure he has had some good game in the past but yesterday wasn’t great IMO. His passing was a bit off. He did miss some tackles defensively as well. Let’s hope he can improve because Joash is no 5/8 and we do need someone to come through.I never said he had a good game you said he was disappointing… it’s his 5th game against men and as delboy said, he did his job in actual fact he just about won the game for us when he chopped down their backrower 10 metres closer to the post from their last try which meant their kick to draw the game was harder.
A 21 year old looked promising in Jersey Flegg? Joash Papalii would destroy these merkins.I’m sure he has had some good game in the past but yesterday wasn’t great IMO. His passing was a bit off. I thought Hunter looked very promising.. Shame he’s going to Newcastle
Hunter played well in Reserve grade at 6. Looked a classy player. Joash has shown nothing at 6 so far. Very predictable. Dean Hawkins has shown more which is sad. Joash is a good back up for fullback. And maybe a hairdresserA 21 year old looked promising in Jersey Flegg? Joash Papalii would destroy these merkins.
Papalii was twice the player in reserve grade.Hunter played well in Reserve grade at 6. Looked a classy player.
In attack, the way we use our 6 is basically the same way we use our fullback. The fullback makes some extra runs on exit sets and the 6 takes some kicks when Moses can't. The main difference is how they defend. If Papalii is struggling with the physicality of first grade, Hunter definitely would.Joash has shown nothing at 6 so far. Very predictable.
Papalii made 30 tackles with zero missed last night. If Hunter (or Hawkins) had played, we would've conceded 40.Dean Hawkins has shown more which is sad. Joash is a good back up for fullback. And maybe a hairdresser
Papali has failed so far at 6. Fullbacks transitioning to 5/8 is one of the hardest things.Papalii was twice the player in reserve grade.

A star reserve grader, to be fair. Hunter isn’t even that.Joash is a reserve grader.
Because they struggle with the defensive workload. Papalii’s defence was excellent last night.Papali has failed so far at 6. Fullbacks transitioning to 5/8 is one of the hardest things.

To be fair, neither did Moses, who also defended worse than Papalii. Souths worked too hard and limited our opportunities. They deserve credit. He did nothing all game. Just accept it. Hopefully he comes good but he’s been Passenger since playing 5/8. He’s been better at fullback.
