I would have started with Baxter and Holmes, with Jeremy paul at hooker.

And What the f**k has McIssac done this year??

McIssac is a solid scrummager and has good setplays but he is nothing special I don't see him as the long term hooker epsecially when he is about 28yrs old.

Did you not see Blake's last couple of games? Breaking tackles and offloading like a number 8?

Was that the game that the Brumbies towelled them up 22-0??
Or when they played the 9th place Highlanders.

The guy has no ball skills.
I've watched him since he played for colts for West Harbour, 10-5 meters
Out, hey he is very hard to stop. But his ball running is nothing on Robinson.

As for going into a game with uncapped players...do the names Daly, Kearns and Mackenzie ring any bells?
They'll do well.

Comparing those great Wallabies to the Blake and McIssac is a joke.

Why not give them a go, instead of doing an Eddie Jones and persisting with a front row that got sodomised majorly last time they played England.

Only way you are going to find out someone goes is throwing them in the deep end.

What's at stake? Nothing.

well at least he tried something new. i like the size of the front row and if you're going to try people out it may as well be now. knuckles has also signalled he's going to change the whole side around for the second test ie. freier is a dead cert for that one.

I dont' think you have anything to worry about. I mean, after all, Al Baxter told us earlier in the year the Australian front row don't live in fear anymore...

And then Baxter got pussywhipped in practically every scrum he went into after that comment

They'll do Ok against the poms because ANdy Sheridan won't be there to towel them up but down the road against Hayman and co they'll struggle.

Well Reds scrum went alright against Heyman so there is hope if this front row can give England some stick.

What the hell happened to Sheridan? Was absolutely destructive vs the Wallabies. It was like a 500kg boulder going downhill, just unstoppable.

The front row was the best on form, Holmes and Blake should be the props for the world cup should their good form continue. They were easily the best Australia had to offer in S14.

When you realise that Baxter and Dunning are embaressing, Young has been found out, and Robinson looked shaky against the better scrummers, it made sense to chose these 3.

Hes injuried, but the ABs scrum is top of the pile atm with Heyman leading the charge as best prop.

Baha Moffo, England have been drilled. Man they are pretty poor in attack. Just one outs. 8 phases before and no metres

the poms aren't exactly the acid test at the moment, but the front 3 went well, particularly Blake

if he stays off the burgers he'll be a big asset [any one but Al Baxter!]
