Yeah he just confirmed in the post match interview he hasn't been given any feedback, I think he just needs a proper coach, he could genuinely be anything - still only 23
I think that was Lomax's first game since he was dropped- pretty sure he didn't play last week.

Still no feedback from the coach. Even though that's disappointing, it certainly isn't unexpected.

Rusty first half for Lomax, but better in the second. Hopefully gives him confidence to carry on.

Considering the way the side played in first grade yesterday you'd have to think he'd be picked for NRL next week, he couldn't do too much more today, would have had another try assist if the winger was paying attention too.

If hook is picking the team, who knows. I've given up trying to second guess that stubborn old goat-BTW, hook is about my age, but he's still a stubborn old goat.

If hook is not picking the team, I'm sure he'll be back in FG.

Mark Carroll said publicly what all supporters are thinking-given what the FG side is doing, why wouldn't you have Liddle and Lomax in the side?

Noone knows.. Ironically our first named side vs the Titans is probably our best, except with JDB in at lock, Bird on the edge & BMM out of the side.

If we just stuck with that side the whole time we'd be in a much better position.

Well, if we got rid of hook, we would probably be in a better position. One thing for certain, we would not be in a worse position!

Actually feel sorry for Zac, obviously his confidence is at an all-time low. Yes, some maybe self-inflicted (like sulking for being dropped) but it seems his overall game has deteriorated to this standard.

I like the involvement of the 2 bench props in Lui-Toso and Tuitavake, both showing some enthusiasm. I think young Fifita is a fair way off 1st grade standard.

Young Tamale is showing some good signs also, but I fear the current coaching regime will not progress him further.
To me, Fifita showed signs of why Sulli said he really didn't want to come here.

KOE cup team is shit. Goodwin as clueless putting muhleisen at halfback or Turner in the team in heneral. Where TF is herring? Also if you put Lomax in Reggie's, put him on the right! Tamale is a left-hand centre!
I was so excited to see if Lomax was back on the right to fight for his longterm position.. I was so bummed.. and it was obvious that tamale also just didnt quite know how to attack on the right.. when you consider they are both on the wrong side.. I mean.. my god.. its madness.

One of the reasons why he was dropped was he let Averillo run round him not once..but twice
IMO all the feedback he gets is irrelevant until he's back on his right side.. then he can be judged.. he spent his life stepping and tackline on one shoulder.. and at the most elite level, thats the difference.. he gets found out on the left.. but on the right I think his defence is a hell of a lot better. We will have to wait for hook to be gone so we can see what they have in store for him longer term...

They say he is playing with a really painful Sternum injury that he should be resting.. I really hope that is the case.. I hope that its not sooking.. but I think hes playing at a fraction of his potential right now..

As far as the halves go, heard Herring was told to play local footy, priorities to contracted players.
They need to fix that.. I assumed Herring was injured.. they desperately need a more stable halfback at the minimum in that NSW Cup side.. I lost my mind when I saw Mulheissen/Turner as the combination.. absolute plodders, what chance does the rest of the team have? And the rest of the team was actually a pretty good line-up.

I have a real problem with Turner, he shouldnt be in our 30.. I wouldnt play him in NSW Cup either... and herring is the future.. next year they have to get Herring into the development squad at a minimum.. I think we need to offload Turner also from his 2024 contract.. but I think that will be challenging.. remember we still have Ramseys spot/$$ to bring in yet, another spine member to fit into one of the grades.

You know what madness is, our recruitment/retention, we have signed up Lomax till 2027 or thereabouts and we then go sign Suli who plays on the same side to a 3 year deal on good coin, why not actually go out and look for a left centre, players these days play one side of field for their whole career, its not smart recruitment.

If that’s true it’s unforgivable. 2 rounds of football later and no feedback from the coach on why he’s been dropped? Same stories we heard after a few players moved on after last season, even Woods confirmed similar after he left. Griffin is a cancer on this club.

You've summed this all up perfectly Rev. I completely agree with you.

Saw the highlights.

Nice work from Billy close to the line.

Turner and Herring scored awesome solo tries. Herring is a natural left-side half, which we need, and reminds me a lot of Matt Burton.

Muhleisen good strength from DH.

Stewart not too great.

Was awesome to see Tui and Vili combining for a try. Vili looks the goods.
