Markers went to sleep, just as well they bombed it and we had a winning lead.
31C, 50% humidity. Not too bad. Gonna be 36/37 tomorrow. Pity those guys.Shocking conditions to play footy in.
Barely, he was awful. Took about 1 carry and then ran out of gas. One occasion where there were already two markers but he couldn't be bothered to get back in the defensive line so just stood behind the second marker almost like a 'third marker', and left the line one short. Sooner he's gone the better.Did not see full game. Did Vili Fifita play.
Yes- I had the same impression watching him live in SG Ball last year and on TV in the U19 State of Origin. Seemed to me he was being judged on his size and potential rather than what he produced on the field which was pretty low key.Barely, he was awful. Took about 1 carry and then ran out of gas. Good to see cup getting wins with such a young team though. Halangahu, Egan and Latu all pretty good. I'm still unconvinced on Loko, big boy, but not sure he's got much fight in him. Pretty unremarkable and a little lazy from what I've seen.
