St George Illawarra Canterbury Cup NSW coach Mat Head and Jersey Flegg coach Willie Talau have named their Round 14 teams.

The CC Dragons will play on Sunday, June 16 at HE Laybutt Complex (3pm) against the last-placed Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles.

The Jersey Flegg Dragons will play as a curtain-raiser to their NRL counterparts against the Sea Eagles on Sunday, June 16 (12pm) at Lottoland.

Some stats from the CC game against Sea Eagles

Sailor - 16 runs 143m - 4/4 goal kicking including 1 from on the sideline - 5 TB
Saab - 20 runs 231m - 65pcm - 2LB - 1TA - 4TB
Masters - 11 runs 143m - 1LB - 2LBA - 1TA - 2TB
Periera - 18 runs 178m - 49pcm - 12TB
Kerr - 70 mins - 13 runs 141m - 45pcm - 30 tackles - 91%TE
Timm - 63 mins - 23 runs 202m - 56pcm - 4TB - 35 tackles - 97%TE
Ford - 14 runs 125m - 51pcm - 4TB - 34 tackles - 92%TE

Saab - going to be something special and he's only 18

Periera - too good for this grade, 12 tackle breaks in 1 game, 178m, surely a better option than Maranta!

Timm - again runs for over 200m in a game with high tackle efficiency, yet cant crack a game in 1st grade over Latimore

We've talked about roadblocks in our development and retention, here is evidence to prove that.

Lats - 38 mins - 6runs 44m - 14pcm - 0LB - 0TB - 20 tackles - 91%TE
Allgood - 41 mins - 6 runs 50m - 17pcm - 0LB - 2TB - 26 tackles - 96%TE

Love this sort of stuff DS, figures don't lie ! As i said before surely there has to be a blow up between Mary & Millward re pathways when you see Mary's non performing favorites being picked week to week even when we are losing.
Sorry to say the pivotable problem is not just Mary but the whole coaching staff ( at the very least not standing up to Mary on these irrational decisions )

The only way out and to force the Boards hand would be to keep losing badly. If we end the season any higher than 15th i believe the injury & Debellin excuse will be used to keep him and his stooges in a job for next year. This is 2012- 2017 all over again.
