This team is so resilient. They've had, without exaggeration, about 10 straight sets on our line. We held them off though somehow. Finau and Tamale really good defensively on the edge and Egan tackling strongly in the middle

Geez I see why Rava and Bird aren't playing in FG. AJ Kepaoa scores a try he shouldn't have. Bad defence from us and a poor attempt at a try saver from Sloan with wrong technique

Sloan still misses them the same way at this level, can’t see how he nails down a permanent FG spot going forward. Need someone else.

Half-Time Notes (18-10 up):
o Should have been up 24-0, bird dropped one over the line... and then a couple of moments there on half time and somehow the team has let 2 tries in.
o Very solid early, great moments from King-Togia.. plus Bird and Rava have strong carries
o Ref gave them 10-straight minutes on our tryline.. which we actually defended.. was amazing.. but also ridiculous from the ref.. although tbf Sloan gave away 2 silly 6-agains to start that period.. then after the 2nd one.. a penrith player was holding onto him in the in-goal for about 30 seconds while play was allowed to continue.. ive never seen anything like it.. they nearly scored too. Ref is rly trying to square the game up, which hes done now.
o We need to start strong again in the 2nd.. bit nervous penrith are looking confident again now, we really had them dead in the water.. plus we had to do a lot of D now and were tired.

Unless Feagai has an absolute shocker at fullback tomorrow, I can't see Sloan getting back to first grade from this performance.

Am I wrong thinking that this Dragon's Team on paper should be dominating other teams easily?

Sloan has missed every 1on1 tackle opportunity, I know its not just his fault but ffs.. save some of them.

Far out this is tough stuff to watch.. on their line attacking.

tbf we dont really look like scoring, were so tired.. nothing is hitting with pace anymore.. and its a slippery pill.

Do feel like MMolo was hit before he could catch the pass though, thats the moment that led to penrith going the length.. again.
