But if you're the Broncos then you can have a 1/3rd of your NRL roster signed up to below market value.

I remember the same year the NRL disallowed Izzy to Parra due to his "true value" Bellamy had a press conference where he reported that Hinchcliffe was staying at the Storm for less than others were offering. I found it very interesting because it seemed to contradict the Izzy ruling and it was also inconsistent with Bellamy's claims at the time of the salary cap rorts that he didn't know what money players got payed.

There is a gaping chasm between $400K and $80K.

However, his market value is higher than what he will be paid at the Broncos.

Not just the Broncos either. Warriors are getting a good deal for Foran as well if he is allowed to play. Considerably cheaper than what he was offered to stay at Manly and what he signed for at Parramatta.

I don't get why people are complaining about the Broncos cap. It's pretty obvious. Parker's money = Sims who is also taking a paycut. Signing Sims would also put them in a better position cap wise compared to last year.

It seems to me that some people are just salty that the Broncos are well managed unlike their club, especially Newcastle fans.
