3 - Bedsy - we didn't buy him as an 80 minute hooker, but if he didn't put in 80 quality minutes in that game, we lose. In the old days that's just what he did, but now it's freakish that he can still do it.
2 - Snowy - very slim and mobile Snowy, but still strong and dominant. More than i'd hoped for.
1 - Boyd - lot's of good work - but he will improve a lot as well.

I thought there were plenty of good players out there who deserved points, but three really stepped up under different types of personal pressure and played to the standard we've all been hoping for:

2 - Snowden
2- Mullen
2 - Buderus

Well said, couldn't agree more.

I don't know if Boyd has gotten enough credit either. Couple try savers but none bigger than the first intercept play which IMO mind f**ked the Sharks for the remainder of the game when it came to 2 on 1s.

It sure did mind f**k me when he took that intercept..nfi how he did it, but so f**king glad he did. It's something that Gidley and McDonnell sure as hell wouldn't have done.

Bit late but what the hey:
3. Houston
2. McManus
1. Buderus

If James MacManus isn't the most dependable winger in the comp I'll eat my hat. I was at the game v the Tigers on Monday night at Leichhardt last year and he was copping an earful from the Tigers faithful and being derided as the worst state of Orgin player since anyone from the 1995 squad. I wanted to respond, but then I realised I was trying to reason with a thick demographic who believe in Robbie Farah.
