His running game is quite obvious an asset for the team and I enjoy his some-what never say die attitude but is he in-a-way our answer for the No.7 Jersey atleast for the rest of the season or do we look abroad for new talent???

No. He'd be better off at 5'8th with one of the young guns in at halfback. He's just not experienced enough to be our sole playmaker, he needs someone to help him in the halves.

I would play him outside Robson, and send Mateo back to the forwards.

he's a better option than Robson, so for this year he is a yes

as to whether he can be our permanent organiser, time will tell

He's not experienced enough so the best option is to throw in another kid who is even less experienced at running a side as he too has played most of his career at 5/8 and has only been playing halfback in NYC since the start of the year?

At least get another playmaker in their so they can play off each other. Having Mateo partner KK in the halves puts too much pressure on him because he's going to be the only option come every 5th tackle. At least partnering him with a proper or more traditional half or 5'8th lets them share the burden.

Yes, leave him there for the rest of the year to get experience for next year. Then next year we should move keating to 5/8 and go hard for monaghan

Seems like DA recoginsed this and had burt playing like a second 5/8 in attack, im sure that this will continue with burt providing the opition as our second kicking opition.

Outside of Robson then who else is there? With the NYC side playing reasonably ok it would be better long term to leave Mortimer there. O'Grady to halfback??

his biggest asset is his support play. thats the biggest waste in playing him at 7 atm. it's a bit extreme but i'd try burt as a 7 just to lead the team around with hayne at fullback. with keating supporting plays, we don't need burt doing it as well.

Too much of a punt. It's obvious that we don't have much options when talking about our No.7. Kris Keating is a competitive player but in the long run he's not going to be our Permanent Half-Back. 2009 we'll just have to hope he shines as a Play-Maker but we have to start looking abroad if we are to once again become competitive.

He has to start as he is one of the only players to offer penetration.

He would be my starting no 9.

Mortimer to 7 and MK to the bench.

He looks more of a 6 than a 7 to me, unless we want to throw in 2 rookies in the havles our only other option is Robson :?
