Honestly effort is not the issue this year.

We dead set try hard, run out of steam and ideas very quickly though.

The effort has been there and that's what makes it all the worse.

Did they improve? No, not really. they lost a game they could/should have won. The same mistakes, problems, poor game strategy. they look lost on how to score tries and have no strategy for building pressure with their attack. Almost all the attacking kicks are not contested. Would we have beaten anyon with that performance? Nah.

I don't feel for Flanno at all. What did they do in the off season? No fitness, no attacking moves, no special plays, no strategies, no tackling drills. Kyle shouldn't have been there, he was understandably tentative in everything he did. Entire back line is poo. Only attack comes from Luc and Liddle. Where to from here? Buggered if I know.

Boggles my mind why we keep playing CT as well his hammies aren't up to it and we have one less player on the bench as a result. He has a good year in 2024 and has been crap since I can't believe I'm saying this but Feagai is our best option there and he's an absolute dud.
