i dont think melbourne will get minor premiership.

During the origin period its likely they will be missing
Smith, Inglis, Slater, Falour, Johnson, Crocker, Hoffman

With the possibility of these players playing
Quinn, White, Kaufusi

I don't think any team has that kind of depth...

They've done it the last 2 years.

lol @ people saying the roosters and eels will be in the top8 ,

They will finish in the bottom 6, the roosters are finish before round 8, the eels were always overrated they are the leagues boring team

The Knights i think will miss out, they could surprise and sneak into 8th

It will be
Broncos
Storm
Dragons
Cowboys
Manly
Gold coast
Tigers
8 IS OPEN except for
bulldogs,souths,eels,roosters, they cant make it

Interesting that the Knights, one of the early season wooden spoon favs by both forum members and betting agencies are now popping up in a few top eight predictions.

I think a true idea of how well they are running will be this weekend against in an form Titans without Bederus.

They have a horror home stretch in the last five games. It will require a massive effort for them to be a genuine threat come finals time.

I agree dogs and souths miss out, but eels and roosters being ruled out already? Eels have Inu and Smith to return with heaps of improvement and have been in worse situations in the past and made it. But were you really get me is when you say roosters cant make it, they are 2 games from the top of the ladder and before the last 2 weeks were the form team of the comp.

My prediction for Panthers is between 7th and 10th. I won't say we'll definitely make the top 8... but with Waterhouse and Woolnough coming back from injury we should improve.

The Origin period should be good for us also, with exception of Petero playing for QLD, we will be unaffected. We have home games against Warriors, Sharks & Broncos before each Origin match... which should all be winnable.

1.Broncos
2.Storm
3.Titans
4.Roosters
5.Warriors
6.Manly
7.Cowboys
8.Sharks

--Warriors away form has been sh*t, but realistically we have lost all four of those games against sides we were never going to be favourites against, two of them in extreme heat, and with high quality players to return over the next few weeks. I expect us to pick it up bigtime.

Far from impossible. Going into the 2005 ANZAC game we were 1 and 5 as well (with the Roosters at 3 and 3 - and finished 9th). We ended up equal 1st going into the finals. This year we were 1 and 5 with the Roosters sitting at 4 and 2. No reason that history won't repeat itself.

I don't think we will finish 2nd this year, but we most certainly will make the 8.

i think alot have underestimated the tigers.

if farrah comes back and benji's well, they could finish anywhere.
