I see the Canary died in the mine you where born in.

Every press release has a purpose, yes? They don't just put them out for the sake of it.

So, what to you think is the specific purpose of this release?... go on rack your brains.

Geez it couldn't be to promote the day could it?

“We should do it more often in the future as well."

Following your theory, this hardly sounds defensive and if it is indeed a well structured propaganda campaign WHOO HOO they must be thinking about using the Jersey more often!

I've always thought that this Heritage Day (17 years is heritage??) jersey was the thin end of the wedge to eventually get it as the away strip.

Ben S.

Izzo,
I think you'll be calling us worse things than that when we flog the bunnies.

Are you guys serious ??? It is a Far king jumper. If it came to the crunch I would still watch us playing in beige with pink spots. So long as they are the dragons.

So you'll support whatever the club does as long as 'they are the dragons'?

What if they drop Dragons from the name? Would you support them then?

Yeah sure, you hang onto that thought Salmon.

Sullivan played well and I gave him a rap at the time. Generally known as respect for opposition players.

But I also recall those wonderful Kimmorley intercepts being handed over earlier at Kogarah... he was one of our best that day.

I prefered Sullivan's "effort" in the 74-4 Parramatta match later in the season. He showed his true colours then...

It would've done Terry Lamb proud.

What a coaching master-stroke from the Cardiac Kid, not to mention the discipline of the talented players to stick to the carefully crafted game-plan

From the very same match...

"Sharks' skipper David Peachey allowed his frustration to get the better of him as he waved his arms about and leveled some less than complimentary remarks towards referee Shayne Hayne. In the space of 90 seconds Peachey was penalised, then marched ten metres and then sin binned before grabbing the grand prize of being sent off for good."

I can't believe you are using that game as an example, it was a farce and everyone knows it. Hayne would have been put in intensive care if he dared walk down Cronulla after that match.

But yes, I will hold on to that wonderful game late last season.... Sully!!!!!
