Im sorry to say i never once rated this bloke. Sorry because i would have loved to have seen what others did in him. I however saw a weak ball runner with poor hands with a good tackling technique and above all else, amazing fitness. Im happy for him he is retiring, and wish him all the best.

1. You have no idea.

2. If he's so sh*t, why would you be happy he's retiring ?

The best falcon, known to mankind belongs to this man.

That above all else, should be acknowledged by all, and I was proud enough to have seen it with my own eyes. A true blessing.

Thompson has been included in the Sharks 17-man squad for the match which will mark the re-opening of the newly renovated Toyota Stadium, with a big screen trubute planned for Thompson before the match and a lap of honour after the full time siren.

One of the more under-rated players of the last decade. His treatment by the Dragons was disgraceful. Not just a great player but a great clubman too.

im glad scum-george gave him the boot.

they treated him like shiit.
he deserved better.
and he got it playing with cronulla.

i know he is a player manager atm, hopefully he stays with cronulla in some sort of player recruitment role or something.

He got his reputation through his passion for St George Illawarra.

F*ck Cronulla
