Yeah - look I think ppl have been a bit harsh on Witty - maybe he's no Sterlo and it sounds like he has a bit of an attitude, but he gave his all when he played - obviously some ppl think his all was better than others.

he's one of those players that have always had his fans and detractors - so now he is gone that is being shown.

If Dykes had been on the field the whole year we would have done a hell of a lot better. Look Witt will probably do well at Manly and if he does a lot of ppl will be succumb to criticism. But they have a differnt game plan and he will have a good 5/8 next to him. Iam guessing Witt left because he wasnt even considered for next year and Iam glad. He would never win us a premiership. Having PJ or Morris there will give us some experience we need.

It really amazes me who when someone is playing for Parra they are superstars but when they leave the supporters are always bagging them and saying good riddance. Do you ever think that the problem may be Brian Smith?. If you dont believe so, could you please explain why most players who leave the club go on to bigger and better things. I bet people like Cayless, Ryan and co who left aren't shattered about leaving now. I'm not bagging Parra supporters but I just can't understand the mentality that goes on with Brian Smith within the club.

Mr T: personally, Finch is twice the player Witt is, if not, more he has a much better all round game and dominated in a Canberra side that was going like a busted arse, my question to you is when has Witt done that for us? he had ample opportunity to be the man. but failed.

Witt was shit and other people on here and myself have stated so. Some supporters thought he was good and some could see that he was no halfback. ANd we do regret Tonga and Ryans leaving of our club.

I want to say from the outset that I don't think Witt is shit, but I do think he has plenty of room for improvement but for some reason his attitude stated that he desearved his spot fulltime last season, and that was due to the dozen or so games he played for us in 03 when we were in a rut for a halfback. I think we're prepared for a halfback than we have in the last couple of years due to who we have there now.

I think the word shit was abit harsh on my behalf but lets just say he NOT a halfback. And where will Manly play him ???At 5/8 so really there is no arguement as Manly don't even think he is better than Monaghan and he is average.

Parra are after a halfback and Witt is not one.
