Is what it is, until they start to actually earn money for the game then they should have to cover costs if they want a cut of the english tv revenue. They were given years to get a French tv deal to fund their inclusion and have failed to do so.
They can always rejoin the French league if they dont like it.
Nrl should invest in a pro French league together with expansion teams in England from London Manchester and Newcastle

The nrl should also stop sending tours to England or play the wcc and let the insular English game fend for itself

Its like they dont understand that to be a viable business you need to make at least as much money as you spend!

Take away the tv grant and the club wouldn’t last five seconds
doh. what a dumb arse comment.
What club would in any top line professional sport?

Hull KR are the epitome of what IMG wants to see, and what every lower club in RL should be aiming to emulate. In a few years we've gone from a struggling second division club to an A grade top of the table SL club selling out games and entertaining the fans. Up the Robins!

It was actually mainly write off on a commercial property they sold at a loss of 499k or the actual loss was 35k
About o par with 22-23 then. Not too bad given the challenges they have in their economy.
The SL has a separate set of books so be interesting to see its performance.

Just distributes tv money less expenses to clubs shouldn’t be a big loss there

Presumably SL sponsorship, end of season finals revenue etc goes to them as well?
Yeh never thought about the gate money from the finals and grand final would be a lot

Leaving money from the challenge cup to go to the rfl

You'd think so but its a bit murky at what SL, RFL commercial and RFL revenue and responsibilities are tbh.

It took us a couple of trips down before we finally got our act together. New Wakey owner seems to be investing well and the fans are responding.
