Any hints max?
I really cannot say for 2 reason's firstly because one other club is after him badly and that is the main reason. And secondly I dont want to look like a tosser should we not sign him.

What Juniors Max?

You must be talking about that fresh faced junior Mick Buettner, or perhaps it's the mature-looking for his age Nick Graham? Or was it the schoolboy superstar John Wilson at 5/8? None of these three should have played chief it's that simple. A top young player in Liam Fulton was dropped from the bench to make way for one of these crocks.

As you say, from a purely selfish point of view I'm delighted. If Sheens had selected Kerr and Fulton in his team there is no way known that the Maggies would have beaten the competiton leading Eels on Saturday. But I'm not that selfish. Both players aspire to the big time and both IMO are worthy of the chance to press their case ahead of the likes of Buettner and Wilson who have proven themselves to be less than superstars.

It wasn't inexperience that let the side down on Sunday. There was more than enough experience in the Tigers side. I'd be stunned if they didn't have far more combined first grade games than the Dragons. They'd have to be hundreds of games in front. Did you even watch the game Max? Harrison was barely on, Fulton played the night before, Gibbs didn't do much but he wasn't Robinson Crusoe in that regard. Halatau is a bit beyond the junior tag - he missed some tackles but ran it well. Heighno was like Gibbs. Four younger guys in a side boasting at a rough guess 10 players with 100+ first grade games each. Bit harsh to blame them.

No, lack of experience was nothing like the problem. Too many old legs and not enough enthusiasm might have had something to do with it, but mostly it was a lack of class, something some of the younger brigade have in spades.
You mention Micky B. and Graham???? Who at best are helping hands at the moment. It was quite obvious that even though he is busting his gut trying Graham is just not fit enough to keep up with the current crop Of first grader's.
Im talking about top first grade player's like O Neill and Satt's who were missing badly, good player's who have experience like Wiki, that is what our current crop of young kid's need Yappy hard men and experience!
Do you think that Penrith won the comp.with Harold Matthew's player running around in the NRL do you Yappy??
Thank's for letting us know that Saint's had to much class Sleuth!
One only has to look at there star studded line up to know that!
You know Yappy I hope Sheen's pick's Fulton, Kerr,Gibb's and Harrison against the Rooster's as his starting line up and we will see how they go!
The next thing you will suggest is that you should take over from coach Sheen's who has won premiership's and has taken us to the more win's than we totaled for the whole of last year.
Where were you when we were winning Yappy, no where to be seen but time and time again when we have a bad day at the office people like Tugger and Co. come out of the wood work's and try and destabilise the JV.

Why does such news only fill me with dread?

No current First Grader moves mid season if they are any good at all. Even if the club in question don't want em they sure as hell don't want the opposition to have em. You would only possibly be after such players if you are totally desperate and running last. The Tigers should be looking for mid season homes for some of their players not providing them for other teams.
Ben Kennedy, Brett Firman, Mark Riddell, Brent Kite....naah theyre no good ay?

Wiki? OMG he is a fine player still, but for how much longer? Is Sheens going to buy a bunch of pensioners every year so that he doesn't have to give his juniors a go. Why do the words North Queensland keep ringing in my ears?
Its called a blend of youth and experience

yappy you said the same thing about Robbie kearns 2 years ago and hes been bloody awesome.

Dont write players off simply cause there not under 21.

As if Sattler hasnt helped us, Campion NZ i could go on and on

A 7-17 side is now a 7-7 side arguably the most improved side in the comp) but there a bunch of pensioners and Sheens isint giving any youngsters ago, good call mate

Wow havent the doom and gloom squad came out of underneath the ground this week, mind you i think they have been waiting a while

I agree we gotta use our young blokes but fair dinkum we cant chuck em all in at once.....look at who has been used regularly already this season.
Marshall, Patto, Heighno, Halatau, Harrisson, Gibbs and Kerr a cpl times, Fulton and Duffy once or twice I think.

I think its time to try Kerr again.....hes done the job twice for us, Wilsons effort waving at Gasnier while he scored his third should see him in reserves again next week.
Thats just a bandaid solution though....... its gotta start with the forwards.....we have to start making dominant tackle after dominant tackle or the roosters will just run all over us, we get buggered continually running backwards in defence then when we do get the ball its generally on our line and the big boys are too stuffed to make any yards at all.

id say the back would be monaghan whim manly are chasing. mid season buys probably from the warriors id say. probably props id say too. maybe tookey, karl te mata, koopu

and wiki would bring back some of that mongrel we used to have. he'll get suspended for a few matches a year so the young blokes can start occasionally. if he does leave the raiders and stay in the nrl i cant imagine him joining another club but us - due to the sheens factor when he was a kid..

Yeh I think the back is Monohan. I would love to snag him. But the best buy would be Pritchard. He'd be expensive, but well worth it. Did you people see him single handedly rip the Sharks apart?

But on a brighter note I am pleased to say that we will be signing 2 current NRL(FIRST GRADE) players from another club that will be playing in the WT colour's for us before the end of this year.

Hmmm interesting I could only think of Warriors players or Eels who would be leaving there current clubs to play for us :?

I just hope its Sione from the Warriors if we sign anyone ;-)

The suggestion is that Tim Sheen's will bend over backward's to get Ruben Wiki once he is allowed to speak to him after june 30.
And an outside back by the name of ?????????????
WATCH THIS SPACE! ;-)

When I was speaking to Danny last week he said something about Wiki and they where very hopefully of signing him as we have been told we will be one of 3 other NRL clubs that he will hold talks with and he really dosn't want to go to England
Did Danny happen to mention a particular outside back in conversation?????? ;-)
