Thats good news I hope.I reckon Ian Donnelly is an underated player,he is a genuine big man and would certainly add something to our side.Sign him please, but i`d still like us to go after Mark Meredith and Robert Tanielu also.
Also we MUST retain Jeff Lima and Nigel Plum. These two blokes are both just about ready to be genuine quality 1st graders.Plum has been in the Magpies top 3 players consistently for the past 10 rounds whilst while Lima is out for the season, his last couple of games for Balmain were devastating efforts with ball in hand.I`ve heard rumours that both players are in the eye of high profile clubs and it would be a crying shame to lose either of them!

i hope lima shows us some loyalty like we showed him when he was introuble with the law..

What loyalty have the WTS shown towards him ???

He was already signed for this season before that incident and only on a Balmain contract not a WTS contract

So MT, what odds Lima will stay? I'd hate to think he'd play elsewhere?

Who knows but put it this way one club has offered him over $100k to join them and for a 3yr incentive based deal ontop of that so who knows - given that he hasn't signed on the dotted line and that the offer he recieved is now nearly 3 weeks old could be a good sign that he could stay I guess

I'm not that hopeful but I guess thats me being a typical Wests Tigers supporter

The Roosters where but didn't make an offer apperantly, from what Lavers said 3 clubs have made him an offer but Jeff at least has given us the last chance at trying to keep his services as he does want to stay here but with an offer like that he would have to be stupid not to say yes!

Yeah right they rip the contract up and they would of been forced to pay it out - plus not to mention he was our best forward for most of the season before he broke his jaw!

Absolutely , he was killing it in PL before his injury, i was shattered when he got injured because he's the type of forward we lack right now, someone with some mongrel and intimidation about him. IM glad to see he's given the club a chance to respond to other offers , the fact that its now 3 weeks since that big offer was lodged could (?) be a good thing? then again it could mean little.

I can`t understand why he`s not in 1st grade?I think he`s roughly 187cm,110kgs and very mobile. He`s a genuine giant and it does make you wonder why he`s not playing 1st grade, but I saw him play on Fox last week and I can tell you he was causing carnage every time he ran the ball. And I do realise the Qld Cup IS NOT 1st grade standard, but if you are proving to be a class above that standard being the Qld Cup or Premier League, there is only one place to go,that being NRL 1st grade.Correct???

Most people actually think that the QLD cup is better than NSWRL PL
