Awesome stuff! Great to see he stayed in the game after playing. Has an easy, but focussed, temperament so should make a good go of his new role.

Skinner, do you know where his brother, Condor, ended up? Had a bit of talent, but I never heard a peep.

Not exactly sure, only know the boys, but they certainly are from Birkdale.

I've admittedly never heard of them, but I've done some scouting around, and there's a Condor Tawhai living in Alice (Springs?) with his partner and kids. This same Condor attended Birkdale Intermediate, so I'd wager they're one and the same.

I also found a rather unsavoury article about a prison guard named Condor Tawhai in Alice Springs who started a brawl with other guards after one kept using the 'n' word. That was in August, 2003, but he has been listed as living in Alice as recently as July 2007 by Juanita Kereopa, who is apparently his sister.

Thanks for that, JB. Yep, definitely is. They were discussing Nga Peka Hou, which was our Maori cultural group at Birkdale College (now called Birkenhead College).

Latham has gone to Harlequins as assistant to Brian McDermott, but will initially still be involved with the Skolars for a couple of weeks helping their new coach Tony Benson settle in.
