Classic flat track bully. Peaheart
The thought alone makes me bar up more than Long BayIt's a great shame that we've been denied the opportunity to see Latrell and Godric team up together on the same side of the field
I know he's got a way to go but knocking a freakish talent like him is tempting fate.
If only Queensland could have put the great Robert Jennings against himClassic flat track bully. Peaheart
This.No excuses for Latrell last night. He was very poor and needs to drastically improve his streaky/flakey mentality.
Credit where it is due for his efforts last season. He was immense in Origin, which shouldn't be forgotten, as well as throughout the NRL season and also the GF.
But the greats have the ability to do it week in, week out; season after season.
And Latrell certainly didn't back it up last night. Even worse he's starting to look like a temperamental superstar that needs molly coddling continuously.
So get your shit sorted, Latrell. No one rewrites history like a horde of angry NSW Blues fans who have already forgotten about your efforts last season after your putrid game yesterday.
But put in a repeat performance and they'll be justified in pouring shit on you.
And this.Seeing him run around last night I couldn't help but think... imagine if he was fit? The bloke is carrying some extra kegs when compared with his contemporaries. Kinda speaks to his attitude off the field... he's clearly not the hardest trainer or most methodical with his preparation.
Freakish talent, but I get the feeling everything has always come easy to him. If he applied himself 100% on and off the field he'd be one of the best centres we've seen. Consistency would come with a new attitude towards training and the game in general imo. Hopefully it comes with age and maturity for him, it'll be a waste otherwise.
