I'm not a fan of Hilder at hooker because his dummy-half service is not up to scratch. Ruck defence would be a bonus but if he's spraying passes all over the shop that would be negated - and he's unlikely to make busts from dummy-half.

He's a back-rower and should only be considered there.

I hope Caine gets a chance and I get a chance to actually see a game he plays in!

Based on one game Reefy? Caine has been one of PL's best this this year if not their best outright. He deserves his chance.

yes, based on 1 game. This year.
the dogs are always the toughest assignment in PL.
Caine did not bother their defense at all.
The only players out there that actually bothered a very good defense was Toshio who made break after break
Doig with bust after bust
Gorilla who threw people off like the incredible hulk
Borg who troubled the line with some very evasive footwork.

Mute point anyway, Gorilla will come up, team will stay the same unless there is another injury.

Doig looks ready for first grade, Caine doesnt.
Doig is a gallen clone except bigger.

Doig has been strugling to get a start in PL the last couple of weeks ... not ready for FG just yet BUT has heaps of potential.
Caine has been PL most consistant and he can play Dummy half / 1st receiver and sure knows how to sniff a try.. Good luck to the lad.

Apart from Latu, two of our best past replacement hookers have been Dykes and Campbell. Caine looks the goods to me but I'd be slotting Noddy or Dykes in there if they don't perform as halves. I'd love to see Aitken up there making things happen like he does in PL rather than being told??? to wait for someone else to make things happen???
