Laughing after the game!

Its always the fans that feel a loss.

Some players will feel down after a loss, but they get paid win lose or draw.

Game has changed. Its a billion dollar enterprise now, and someone else mentioned the old " tribal" attitude has long gone.

Players know each other on and off the field. The changes in rosters are never ending.

I just saw Dugan, McDonald,Frizell all laughing with the opposition straight after the loss.

Disgraceful behaviour! Dugan was supposed to be hurt and next thing he's smiling and laughing with Peats jioking around.

Bad attitude at dragons as soon as we signed the coach the players have dropped intensity.
Its Ok, they laugh after the game, i laugh at them during the game at how inept they're...

Had lunch a while ago with RU great Greg Cornelsen.
He was saying how he detested the "cousey bro" hand shakes and attitude after RU matches and suggested that anybody that carried on like that when he played would have been severely dealt with.
He hated all opposition but especially the All Blacks and said they were flat out to shake their hands let alone talk to the pricks.

Dugan laughing after he again fails to finish a game and still gets paid.

Packer laughing at the Tigers paying him so much money.

McDonald laughing at how much the Dragons are paying him.

Me laughing at how shit the Dragons are.

So true, to the players in the modern game it's for the most part just a business, sad but true.....

I really don't get why this is such an issue for you guys..

Would you be pleased with a shit performance as long as the players adopted appropriately disappointed facial expressions after the game?

To be honest I couldn't care less whether they were smiling, crying or hyperventilating as long as the effort is there. When it's not they should be feeling anxious and nervous for selection the following week and for me that just isn't happening.

I coached junior teams for many years in soccer and cricket and always made sure there was hand shaking and three cheers - always, so this isn't a bad thing for our kids to see the big boys do imo.
