Its bloody Rnd 10...its too early to think about Finals series right now we should just focus on the week ahead.
I'll give my answer when the time comes...who knows what might happen in the next 16 weeks that we've still got to go!!!!

I'm with Jesus.
Win the next two games and we are cruisin. We ARE NOT travelling that BADLY. Be positive, cut the negative crap out of your thoughts.
If Suity was a selector we have the Harold Matthews halves combination in first grade.

Don't want to sound pessimistic but we can't possibly make it past the first week of the semis with the level of 3/4's at our disposal. Aside from Grothe the rest are steady without being dynamic and out wide seems to be where the game is won and lost these days. All the top side have finishers, we have a clown, a prettyboy and a guy who only does what he has to.

I'm very confident we'll make top four. Like I've said before, I will also very confidently bet that the team we're going to finish the year with is going to be very different to the current team and will have Dykes, Thorman and Witt.

* One of the main issues which affects us is Lyon - without a player of his calibre in the centres, we will struggle.

That is, until Graham returns. Once he's fit we will have a great young centre in Graham and a solid one in Langi.

* We need a ball-playing 5/8 with vision and skills; our backs miss him dearly.

The only two backs who go searching for the ball are Grothe and McKinnon, and sometimes Muzza.

We need a guy to put them into space; if Burt or Petersen get good quality ball, WACTH OUT!

* We need Cannings (or a Cannings-style player) back! He was the guy who always made enough metres to put us on the front foot and tired the opposition out with his hit-ups. We have Tsoulos and Moi Moi, but Cannings is fitter and faster and generally more athletic.

* We need STABILITY. Our back 5 needs to stop changing (unless injuries warrant it); our halves must remain the same; our hooker as well; as well as our lock. The other positions, the forwards, aren't as vital, as forwards play a simpler role than the backs and they all do the same basic work.

* DISCIPLINE!!! No more pathetic penalties.

* CONCENTRATION!!! Too often we've defended brilliantly for 4 tackles, only to fall asleep on the 5th and see someone make a 40 metre line-break.

There are plenty of issue to be addressed. I am not 100% positive we can fix all of them. And in order to do well, we need to fix most of them.

1. Agreed and with Lex injured for the rest of the year the centre depth gets tested further.

2. They need more options but as I've said many times Morris plays a 5/8 role as is

3. Moi Moi has been playing for 20 mins at a time in reggies his biggest problem v Manly was his rib injury if all is fine now I'm expecting him to last more than 10 mins.

4. The back 5 has been as stable as possible in recent weeks, Vaealiki's injury forced changes but since then it has been stable.

5. Agreed 150% and then some

6. See 5 and at 500%

We will make the finals and win at least 1 game.

The one thing which will stop this from occuring is if Brian Smith started visiting his message board and taking selection advise from the gallery. If that happens, we'd have a team which changes on a weekly basis depending on mood, weather and the alignment of planets, leaving us with no stability what so ever.

IF we make it to the Finals, then yes, I believe we will make it past the first week. Those boys were embarrassed that they didnt make the finals last year and will hopefully be out to prove something this year. And you always lift when you hit the finals.
