most line breaks by any Eels player, Luke Burt with 11

interesting for a bloke who apparently cant break a tackle according to some

Twizzle, I think you are mistaking the words "make" and "break"

Also, if you are the recipient of a quality LBA, you do not need to break a tackle to make a line break. Amateur.

OIC, so you can actually make a line break without breaking anything, just like a carry

Correct, if someone puts you through a hole untouched you are accredited with a line break. You don't have to break a tackle, that is why there are seperate tackle bust stats:roll:

Now that the year is over, and you've spent countless hours compiling these stats, I'd like to provide you with this link:

http://livescores.smh.com.au/nrl/player-stats.html

They also keep line break assists

I didn't have the heart to show it to you earlier, I figured if I was patient it would be so much more fun!!!!

:D

No I'm aware of the SMH stats page - it's where I get my LBA numbers from because it's the only stats site (that I know of) that records them.

The reason I wanted to keep track of all LBAs this year is because the SMH leaderboard only keeps track of the top 20, and I wanted to be able to look at them for all players.

Interestingly, the SMH tallies for the top 20 don't always match up with the weekly recorded numbers - Thurston, for example, is only listed as having 25 LBA for the year, yet his weekly LBAs (on the same site) add up to 26.

Sloppy journalism.

That's disappointing :(

I've been giggling for weeks about how funny that was going to be....

actually its nothing to do with journos - the SMH stats pages are provided by a company called Sports Data who I believe provide data to pretty much everyone http://www.sportsdata.com.au/clients.htm
