I go past the redeveloped Redfern Oval every morning & even in the morning light it's cruel to see what they have done to the ol girl.
Whilst we have to accept that the new stadium is what we have ended up with to me it's just a glorified training facility.
Another piece of our clubs history swept away at the desire of the Lord Mayor & her CoS Councilers control freaks.

Hey f**k wit, let me know what time you drive past in the mornings, so that i can get some of the Bros to throw a brick through your windscreen to knock you the f**k out.

Otherwise i will wait on Elizabeth street myself for you looking for a fat short bastard in council clothes.

Their not gonna spend 250 million on redfern oval to make it a 25,000 seat stadium when no carparks exist around there, and the fact the SFS is five minutes down the road!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our new facility is better than our current quagmire at Erskineville Oval. Th leagues club should be finished end of 2009.

That looks awesome. Now we just need to get that dopey Clover Moore voted out and someone sympathetic to South's voted in and then we can get some approval to finish the job.

Unfortunately it will never happen, but its nice to dream!

Return to Redfern 09 Sold Out – for now!
<IMG alt="">
The RTR09 Celebration promises to be another momentous chapter in the history of our great Club. The last of the Rabbitohs allocation of 3,300 tickets were snapped up last Friday in some frantic last minute sales. This is fantastic news and demonstrates the passion that exists for the Rabbitohs and the traditional home of Redfern Oval.
We wish to advise that the West Tigers are currently selling their allocation of RTR tickets to their Members. If tickets remain unsold, they will be returned to the Rabbitohs for sale to our Ticketed Members.
If this does occur, tickets will be made available to Ticketed Members who joined pre Christmas and who are yet to purchase an RTR09 ticket. This will be a ‘first come first served’ sale when they are released. The on-sale date will be communicated via email and website, and would likely occur in mid-late January.
Again, it is important to note, this is strictly on the proviso that tickets remain unsold to Wests Tigers Members from their allocation of 1,000 tickets.
If you’re keen to be a part of history and attend RTR, join or renew as a Ticketed Member, and cross your fingers!
