This, just saw TDK last week and Ledger was ridiculously good.
Ekhart's Two Face was almost just as good (almost)

The whole thing was so well scripted and acted it was almost surreal

Yeah I think they had a good premise and a good villain but just way too many "WTF?" moments.

I wouldn't go as far to say that he ruined it.
TDKR is still a very good movie, but no doubt its a huge step down from TDK.

Its annoying as hell because you can see all the ingredients are there, but for some reason it feels rushed and scrappy and doesn't all come together.

I wouldn't say it was ruined, but it was certainly a big step down. The real issue with the film was pacing. We saw a bunch of Bale being old and useless, Bane lit up the screen whenever he was on, and then suddenly Batman miraculously recovers from a broken back and comes back in record time.

I thought Hardy as Bane was the highlight
