Sucked in to the dogs as they pretend to make it as a nothing game but get so upset about losing that they try to make some cheap shots. Typical dogs

I TOTALLY AGREE. THEY PLAYED CRAP. ONLY THE ROOSTERS CAN BECOME THE WORLD CHAMPIONS WITH A HUGE LEAD OF 38NIL.
THE BULLDOGS PLAYED DIRTY IN THE GAME. I HAVE NEVER WATCHED A GAME WHERE SO MANY FIGHTS BROKE OUT AND SO MANY CHEAP SHOTS CAME WHEN THEY KNEW THEY WERE GOING TO LOSE.
SUCKED IN DOGS. I GUESS DOGS ARE KNOWN TO BE DIRTY :!: \\:D/

The Roosters couldn't even get there this year. How does that make you feel?

Well thats true and if they did i would of loved to see the roosters get smashed by 50. Sorry but that roosters gay theme song makes me hate the roosters more than the dogs and it was only the second time i went for the dogs. First was 95 grand final when they played manly and last year against the roosters. Gould is another part of the reason. But the Dogs are a dirty side and the supporters at belmore are even worse.

Leeds have really dominated the English comp, and if that's the best England has to offer then I might just hold back a touch in future when I comment on how the standard of British Rugby League is on the improve.

Thats like me saying if the Dogs are the best that Aus have to offer then the NRL is pretty poor, they only came back into it when Leeds eased off.

That isn't the best the NRL has to offer, which I think is quite clear.

Cheers.

I know that, but my point is that it isn't the best England has to offer either - Leeds weren't at their best and really took their foot off the gas after half time.

Sherwin, Shrek, Mason and Ryan would have made this game a very different one if they were there.

Very true, hopefully next year, if you make it then they will play.

That's true but they weren't there and we can't go on could haves. The team we put on the park made a good effort but didn't come up with the goods, that's the way it goes and hopefully we get another chance against them same time next year.

I don't care. I am proud of my team and i know that if they got there they would have won easy. we have class. We proved it in 2002 when we became world champions of a lead 38nil. Oh soory your dogs couldn't do that but they are good at doing cheap shots :?:

I agree. I wasn't making excuses. My comments were in reference to the by-topic in here with regards to the quality of the NRL and ESL not being truely represented in this match.

You don't seem to understand that you have to make it there in order to win it. The Roosters weren't good enough to get there this year, because the Bulldogs beat them. You can whinge and gloat as much as you like, but nothing's going to change that.

I wonder if the Roosters players got out of bed to watch the premiers play in the WCC in front of 38000 people this morning.

well I thought there were some tremendous tries scored...I felt for Patten and the bounce of the ball but thats a ball...what happenned to Anasta I thought he went and I don't recall him being mentioned once in the game?
Was he in the board room of the Rhinos talking a new contract??

One thing that really impressed me was the crowd. The Leeds fans were loud and united.
Imagine going to see your club play and joining in a chant echoed by thousands of fans.

He went off after 15 minutes with an injured sternum

The English crowds do have it over us for creating atmosphere, I'll give them that.

It's got me buggered how they do it. If someone got up and started singing some song over here, they'd be pretty much on their own. We don't have traditional songs to sing where everyone knows the deal, and knows the words.

Surely you get that, it happens all the time over here (although normally there is less than 37K people).
