The big 3 are so overrated, they have already lost 4 grand finals(2006,2008,2009,2016) with a potential 5th this weekend and not to mention one of those grand final losses was a 40-0 thrashing, how can you be immortals if your losing grand finals 40-0?

Side note, yes indeed you read correctly,2009 counts as a grand final loss,Eels won that against the cheats and also Cam Smith didn't play in 2008 GF against Manly but he was still a Storm player at the end of the day so that counts as a loss for that lesbian.

4 Grand final losses and counting.

OVERRATED.

If he couldn't play footy he'd be working at Sportsgirl....

Do you watch NFL? To me his similar to a triple threat QB in that he can be first or second receiver and still make plays by passing, deftly kicking or running and with his running game having a great dummy,a good step and mighty fend and is probably one of the leading tackle break counts in the league, with good defense for a position where being a good defender is virtually extinct

Furthermore other than Cronk or Thurston it seems that a good kicking game is all it takes to be a star 'cough' Cleary 'cough'

I watch enough NFL to know QB's are not reknown kickers. I also watch enough RL to know thar Morgan has more than just a good kicking game as his stardom rises.

I get as a Manly fan you want to sing DCE's praises, but the majority of us still wouldn't have him near the Qld Origin team next year.

I havent really been following the cows since Thurston departed,i inadvertently declared them finished for the year

The kicking QB thing is cute i guess but in NFL terms the triple threat refers to passing, handing off and rushing yourself, in league it would refer to passing running and kicking

The 'star' halves in referring to are BEN HUNT, Nathan Cleary, Mitchell Pearce, Adam Reynolds etc who are glorified passers or punters with the defensive talent of Benchi Marshall or Darwin Lockyer

In league - as you no doubt are aware - passing has sub categories, flicks, short and long passing (in and out balls) both executed inside and out, and cut out passes (as well as offloads). A full passing reportoire goes a long way to making a star half but isn't necessary as more all round skills are needed.

I don't think the NFL analogy was needed nor added anything to your argument bar introduce a totally different sport into the convo. Hence my cute reply.

Re halves- I mentioned Morgan 'cos you excluded Thurston and Cronk. We're all aware of the shortage of quality all round NSW halves and its impact at NRL club level. But more Qlders like Munster and Norman are on the rise and further developing.

For the Kiwis, I hope Kodi Nikorima keeps developing as well, and it'd be good to see the off field train wreck Foran get back on track.

4 Grand Finals losses and counting bruh

Lets go Cowboys, make it number 5 for the most overrated trio in Rugby League history.
You can't just make shit up to suit yourself. Melbourne have 3 grand final losses, 4 Grand Final wins. 2 premierships. Oh and Jarryd Hayne is more overrated then the big 3 combined, at least the big 3 have actually won

Jarryd Hayne has won Dally M's,has won a GF against the Storm, won an Origin series, won a World Cup.won a Four Nations series, won the punting role at the 49ers,won at getting some random girl pregnant.

Sounds like a winner to me

The big 3 have all won the dally m medal. Just cause you say he won a gf doesn't make it true. Only won 1 Origin series (cause Cronk broke his arm) compared to what 11 for the big 3. Won a World Cup thanks to the big 3, four nations same as World Cup. He wasn't 49ers punter, he was punt returner. And he got dropped because he sucked. Then he quit cause it was too hard for him. Then he tried and failed to make Fiji rugby 7s team and now he stinks up the Titans. Yep he's a real winner all right

LMAO Jarryd Hayne won the players player award at the 2013 World Cup and was also the leading try scorer at that same tourney, players player award means that the big 3 voted for him LMAO.

What a dumbass

He's a better player than 3 contracts and a kitchen

The only reason that dickhead is revered is because he referees his own matches

Jarryd Hayne has/d enormous player potential. And in seasons 2009 and 2014 he played close to it. But he's never wanted to lead a club by his actions.

Smith, Cronk and Slater started with less each but kept increasing there's and played to it for over a decade basically as assistant coaches to Bellyache and Mal.

Want proof? Slater got better as a player with a passing game as he got slightly slower running.

What has Hayne developed? Not his kicking, passing - not even goal kicking.

There's almost a decade worth of awards for old mate Hayne, the old "He had 1 good year in 2009" is the biggest lie in Rugby League history

Nice list

What awards did he get this year though? Coaches award? Participation award?

Nuthin' there since 2014. What happened in 2011 and 12? What part of his game has he developed and improved over time?

Smith, Slater and Cronk played so well they made Brett White and Steve Turner look good enough for rep football!
