For the record, here are Davo's 5 toughest in today's game.

1. Adrian Morley - He just rips in and hasn't let the judiciary affect him. Others have toned down their aggression but not this bloke.

2. Shane Webcke - He's like a big oak tree - hard to move and always there. A powerful man.

3. Chris Beattie - Has toned down his tough-guy style to some extent after a few suspensions but is still a hard man.

4. Ruben Wiki - Has been a great competitor for many years and has lost none of the edge... still very fit and strong.

5. Scott Sattler - Won't hear of defeat and is an inspiration to his team-mates with his attitude and competitive nature.

Im a big fan of davo's and think he is right up there for toughness....i will never forget an over the shoulder pass he popped for ET whilst falling in a tackle against Manly..think it was in a trial match..just brilliant.

But I dont see why toughness seems to equate with thuggery!!!!
A number of those on that list weren't tough..just thugs!

toughness for me is Geoff Toovey......and i knw many hated his guts...and I expect to cop a heap for this...but that little bloke was tough...tough as in the Triester mould..and I rate Toovey above most of those blokes listed there.
