There have been posters on other threads talking up Simmons play at fullback against the raiders but IMO he was pretty ordinary and should go back to the wing where he has excelled over the last 4 or 5 weeks, we certainly missed the Peach and he needs to be signed up for 2 more years, I hope he's not out for too long.

Very dissapointed with Beattie and Franze. I know knee reco's can take a while to ome back from but unless Franze regains it very soon p!ss him off. Kent was ok i thought and i think Aitken should be out new 5/8 (or half now noddy is gone). Is Bickerstaff off contract? Dont re-sign him if he is. Stevo was missed big time, we need to sign another big forward for next year, i like Nutley but he isnt big enough to have the same impact as someone like Stevo. Also whilst it was obvious we missed Noddy, missing Peachey was nearly as bad, re-sign him now.

No-one has said anything about Bailey. He was crap on Saturday night and gave away silly penalties when we could least afford them.

I wholeheartedly agree with the assessments on Beattie and Franze. To Premier League and don't re-sign them for 2005. Joel Monaghan would be a good buy, if we can afford him, and would be awesome paird up with Vagana.

The aggressive defensive effort that we showed against the Ponies just wasn't there at all on Saturday and I was very disappointed.

As far as I was concerned, the only good things to come out of the weekend were the thrashings to Manly and Warriors.

If we tackled properley we would have beaten the "full strength" Raiders. Simple as that.

Beattie was ordinary but his and Franze's defence was not that much worse than the rest of the team.

IMO Reick in for Merritt. Peach back and Aitken had a good game, but Hilder and Gallen are doing ok.

Look's like Sully will remain in the Preston role, coming on when we are 12-0 down after 20 minutes every game. :lol:

It also showed that Peachey is everything to the Cronulla team and needs to be re-signed for a while yet.
