Carl Webb, Reni Maitua and Casey McGuire in place of guys like Feleti Mateo, Krisnan Inu and Kris Keating..

Mate, all three of those players that we are letting go, I repeat all three are not what we want long term.

Inu and Mateo especially so - they just aren't consistent enough to bank on them and that's what you need for a good team. Just wait and watch, I think we will be pleasantly surprised with Webb and Maitua - an origin and test player respectively.

letting go of mateo and inu are decisions i am (and i'm sure many others are) 100% behind. both were offered massive overs given their inconsistencies and no club can sustain matching overs to keep players like these.

cutting those players is not an issue.

the recruitment for new players hasn't been ideal, but i'd hardly call it horrendous.

reni maitua is a questionable signing but has massive upside. about time some of you blokes started seeing the glass half full i reckon.

casey maguire is a brilliant utility signing imo. under-rated player and depth in many positions where we need it.

carl has come down with the incentive of training with knowles, green, vic etc.... if he's serious about that, he WILL increase his cardio. again massive upside

all 3 of the above signings cost a smidgeon of the coin mateo and inu chose to follow and i have no doubt we'll see more signings shortly.

Please don't take my comment as an attack on you Parra supporters or the club. I simply think that your recruitment has been horrendous and that is due to having a knob of a CEO in charge.

I don't question the motives behind letting players go, but seriously just look at the comparison between the players. Mateo let go for Carl Webb... Kris Keating let go for McGuire, who is a solid signing but Keating is far better.. And Inu let go for Reni Maitua, a drug cheat who's been out of the game for a couple of years and last hit form in 2005.

I think you guys really need to pull your heads in as far as recruitment goes. Maybe you have something up your sleeve. If not, it's going to be a dreadful year again next year and you can thank Ozzy the big buffoon for that.

Yeah we know. But we are used to it, we are parra. That's just the way it is.

Agree!!!!!!!!!........ its been a sh*te week made worse by my doctor banning me from drinking a week before it hit the fan ,til next years finals (new medication). I can't wait til the celebrations get under way we still have the team to give it a real shake. A new no.7 will do wonders BRING IT ON !!!!!!!!!!!
