Haha, Phil Bailey topped our try scoring list in 2003, finishing on 14. That says it all.

Just thinking about tryscorers. we have not had a player score 10 tries in any of the past 4 seasons. The only other time this has happened is 1967-1970, our first four seasons.

We desperately need a genuine tryscorer in our backline. Hopefully, Ryan, Wright and Gordon are more of a threat.

Gordon has scored more than 10 tries in a season 3 times with a best of 16 in 2010.
Ryan has scored more than 10 tries in a season once, 2009.
Wright has scored 14 tries this season

Jennings has scored more than 10 tries in 6 seasons out of 7 in the NRL. Just sayin...

Who remembers all the tries simmo used to score despite the handbrake leading the team around.

There is only one I can really remember Surely. And that was when he did an in and away and left a defender standing in no mans land. It was brilliant. I thought to myself why doesn't he do that on a regular basis.

I only saw it once in over 100 top grade games. ( I didnt watch all those games mind you)

I remember more the many tries he let in with his quick sprint up - waving hands around like a imbecile - then turning and jogging back like paris hilton as the pink fool was awarding yet another four pointer against us.

Oh come on quigs you are exagerating.

Wingers score tries because they are marked by other wingers.

Peter Dimond was a winger sometimes.

Not many priest ran past him.

Paris wouldn't of stood a chance

Serious question, would you have preferred to have Simmons this season or not.

Must have been last year then :)

I'll check that.

Checking........checking.......checking......

Yes. He got 12. Equal with L Coote.

in 2010 he got 1 (ONE)

However, he once got 16 in a year at the Sharks. I can't stand him as a player but no one has come close to that for awhile.
