I’ve noticed your posts in this vein lately and I’m not sure if satire or genuine or what.
It's all genuine. I'm off him.
Happy for him to prove me wrong - and praying that he does - but, to me, he has shown over his tenure that he is unwilling, or unable, to address any areas which need improvement.
He is way too focused on loyalty, sticking with incumbents and a "one game plan fits all" mentality.
There is no thinking on the run, no reacting to match situations, just:
- It's the 21st minute, Tommy on for Herb
- It's the 28th minute, Toby on for AFB
- It's the 30th minute, Sifa on for Cam
- It's the 50th minute, Atkinson on for Sifa
In between, the outside backs share the first three hit ups.
Whichever middle/edge is nearest the play takes the fourth.
WK takes the fifth.
Kick to the corners and chase.
etc etc infinitum, ad nauseam.
I surely don’t think Fitzgibbon’s coaching has been perfect, and our performances so far this season have been flat — but I think given our recent season results it’s too early to be jumping on this particular bandwagon. Help me understand.
See above.
In 6 rounds we have barely fired a shot.
And that all comes down to the coach.
