We should of put on at least sixty on that mob of Gambles.

It is embarrassing for moi at times watching our blokes. Never any urgency for that thing called a quick play the ball. No mongrel in the play, no backing up a big forward. Nothing, ziltch. They just stand back scratching their arses as our player is getting rag dolled by three or four defenders. They couldn't be bothered scrambling in to help the bloke out.

Watch the replay where Marzew started his run for the Gambles second try. Stonestreet was coming back as he (marzew) double back. Bloody Stonestreet could of patted him on the head let alone have a real dig at tackling him. But hey, the next six or seven blokes missed him cold too.

We are shit.

zero praise for the sharks and

Out of curiosity, which aspects of our performance today do you think were praiseworthy?

For me, Kennedy’s uptick in form and some of AFB’s work.

That’s about it.

Any side worth their salt playing against a second string Knights, enjoying 60%+ of possession and having a 1 man advantage for ten minutes would have annihilated them.

We never looked like doing it.

And to concede the last two soft tries only shows how far off the pace we are in relation to the real contenders.

3.25 seasons into his reign, AFP has created SFA to praise IMHO.

The guy is a myth.

When we're 28-4 up and we're getting criticised like we're the team on 4 whilst the actual team on 4 is getting sucked off for terrific defence.

I think the scoreline flattered us.
I don't, we were dead comfortable for 80 minutes. The knights, whilst shit, were hardly second string as well, they had a few forwards out 2 of which are utter garbage anyway. We also have a few out injured too.

I'm normally the first to jump on the pillock (!) but we're early in the season and in the middle of a fairly decent road trip. Reckon the conservative play is a plan, well I hope so anyway.

Also it was interesting there in the second half when we got a penalty the call from the bench was to take the two yet we went for touch so someone went against the coach

Wilton's continued development. He's running more courage lines when we are battling at the front. He runs hard, Nikora like. Success there is around the corner.

Hiroti. He's clearly just a great club man. At only 2025 I'd keep signing him until he gets a better deal and wants to go. I'd keep him in the side when Iro is back. I'd replace Pebbles with him.

Siosifa. Looks fitter and is doing tremendous work from the bench. Close to being unstoppable, I'd love to see a 1, 2 punch with him and AFB

Toby. Playing fit for the first time in years. Is proving to be very effective off the bench. Less errors, less fatigue, less sillies. More impact in general and is proving hard to stop.

Iro. Loved him in reggies. Wasn't a fan when he first came in but I'm back on the bus. Beast.

There's probably more.

There we some good moments again for Nicho.

But they need to sort out regularly the last play option.

We didn't need to be at all near best to beat the Knights today and it showed, we coasted through to a good win, with relative ease.

But it's early in the season and you build through the season.

Not worthy of alarm bells yet.

At least the two wingers didn't drop any bombs today defensively? haha

Watched from a distance beering and eating and didn’t appear too troubled. Can’t be too negative to walk away with two points for a fair performance at Newcastle.
Haven’t heard a lot of shade on the Knights, what’s that 4 losses in a row?
The coach has more lives than the cat that is Tyson Gamble
