Mourinho

'We were the best team today, even against a team only playing for the Champions League.
'In extra-time we were the only team who tried to win, but football is like that and the penalty shoot-out is part of the game.'
: 'I respected Liverpool always in my words. I don't need to say more and today I think the best team was Chelsea.'

---------------------------------------------------

FFS, no we were not the better team. We hoofed long balls for 2 hours in the hope that Drogba might beat three men and nick a goal. We had 120 god damn minutes to score one single measely goal, and we waited till 100 minutes to bring on Robben and Wright Phillips against a tiring Liverpool. It was negative football, and lacked any sort of imagination.

This is probably the most angry I have been as a Chelsea fan. Against Valencia in the Quarters we played great, we played with variety and build from midfield. Tonight was just one negative tactic.

One more thing, Lampard, please please start to share Free Kicks and Corners. Please.

if Drogba is down, then Chelski are down

they rely so much on his individual brilliance and that was obvious in this game

I don't like Liverpool, but I was hoping they'd win.

Chelsea - for a team with an unlimited budget they play some f**king rubbish. Can someone post Mourinho's transfer market buys since he's been at the club? 90% of them are questionable to say the least.

Finally - did Fat Frank Lampard even play?

As dirty as it makes me feel to say it ... Go Man U in the FA Cup Final, I'll laugh if Rafa outlasts the arrogant tosspot Chelski mgr

;-) 2 CL finals in 3 years should shut up the naysayers about the Rafa Revolution.

How funny would it be if Chelsea after going all out for Schevchenko and Ballack only get the League Cup?

Although maybe not so amusing because that would mean Man U would win the league and fa cup :x

What else did you expect from someone who refers to himself as "The Special One"?

Moaninho is a bloody tit.

Full credit to Liverpool, fantastic win and probably should have gone through earlier in the match.

As a side note, why is it that Craig Foster seems to be able to perfectly pronounce every name properly with the correct accent and everything, except when they play for an English club? I have no idea who Rowben and Kite are, but apparently they played today. Maybe they replaced Robben and Kuyt?

Haha man o man...

One minute we're in the hunt for the quadruple, the next, we'll be lucky to walk away with the double. That was unbelievably, undeniably hopeless. Both teams played like trash, only Liverpool smelt nicer.

I've said this before, but Lampard needs to quit whipping lollipop corners and free kicks. I could hang a piss in the time it takes to go from his boot to somebodys head. Indefensible.

Geremi has been warming the bench all year. Of course he was going to cark it.

There must be changes made this off-season. Not insurance transfers, but ones that will count.

I'm sorry, but if Robben is getting hurt all the time, f*ck him off and bring in Quaresma. F*ck Geremi off. If Lampard (as tabloids suggest) isn't happy with his multi-million pound paycheck, then f*ck him off. And for the life of me Roman, DON'T FORCE JOSE TO PLAY A TEAM HE DOES NOT WANT TO PLAY!

Good luck in the next round Liverpool!

lol, He thinks Steve Gerrard is French.

Ghhhhherrard is what Fozzie knows him as.

Maybe trying to convince himself he is not English, so he can like him as a player.

Lampard has that a mortgage on all Corners, Free Kicks and Penalties for years. Guys like Robben, Ballack and co see to whip in the odd pearler but they get very limtied opportunites. Ballack is great in the air so probably why he doesn't take many. Surely anyone though can hit them flater then Frank?

It was a very poor game by Chelsea. 6 effoers now against Liverpool in the Cl for 1 goal. Just disgraceful by Mourinho to lose to these guys time and time again. His over cautious approach has burnt him on too many occasions then i care to remember against Fat Rafa.

I said this last week, Chelsea don't have the bottle for the big matches. By far and away the best squad in the EPL, unlimited resources, but all the money in the world will not buy you team spirit and determination. Over the course of the EPL they are a force, no doubt, leave Liverpool in their wake. But when it comes to the big crunch matches they just don't have what it takes. And you have to lay blame to the manager for this. You see the antics of Mourinho on a weekly basis in the media but it makes you wonder what sort of a nutbag must he be in the dressing room.

The siege menatllity may work for struggling Porto but when your the manager of the richest club in the world its just laughable.

I was very happy to see that Carvalho wasn't travelling to Merseyside. I rate him bigtime and everytime I watch Chelsea without him they seem to struggle at the back.

I know there are plenty of lampard supporters here. But seriously, put him back at West Ham or any other mid table club and he is a nothing special midfieder with a big motor. Not the sort of player to drive your team to CL glory.

Mourinho you twat, if your team of overpaid nancies can only score one goal in 210 minutes of football and get knocked out, that's your problem.
Grow a pair.
