lol if it wasn't for Johns the Aussies would have never even got into the game. Lockyer wasn't in the top 5 or 6 5/8ths this year. Thurston and Barrett would have both been better options. Even playing Scott prince there would have been better. Lockyer is the most over rated player in the game. At 5/8 he has nothing never really has. At fullback he made more handling errors than just about any player in the league and was in the top 5 in handling errors every year. He does have some good qualitys but for him to be in the Aussie team let alone be captain is a disgrace. The most overated player i've seen in the last 20 years.

Hunt is off contract next season is he not? Will be interesting to see if he is kept or they try and move Lockyer back there long term. I really don't think Hunt would make a good 6 or be the type of 6 the Broncos need.

Lockyer was terrible last night,make no mistake. IMHO, there is no way he is a 5/8, Barrett should be in the team, because at least him and Johns have played a fair bit together. Their understanding would, as a consequence, be better, which for the good of the team, would also be better. But that wont happen as long as Wayne is the coach.

I love how this has just all of a sudden dawned on people now. Newsflash guys, Lockyer was even worse last year, thoroughly outplayed by about half of his opposition. Thrashing the Poms means nothing, put Raiduh at 5/8th with the Kangaroos, even he'll carve up.
