Oh by all means...knock yourself out.
99% of them though have 100 posts plus associated to my Gaffes.
I thought we should put the shoe on other foot.

Fair point.

I still think he's a better fullback than anything..

This s true, but you should never knock a champion Ink.
I knocked Johns and it came back to haunt me

Bumble never bagged Lockyer though, he gave an accurate..imo...opinion of how he was playing at the time.

Starting a thread by saying Lockyer is hopeless is not knocking the man?
We are not talking Paul Cariage or Greg Smith here.

Well to be fair my opinion of him is the same as it was then. I voted for Option 3 and I still think that.

It's hardly needs to go back to fullback.

I still agree that he should. His phenomenal last half of the season doesn't prove that moving him to 5/8 was a good idea imo.

I think everyone agrees Lockyer made a better fullback than five-eighth.

However, the Broncos needed someone to direct the team around. Lockyer joined the team as a five-eighth way back when, and since Bennet could cover fullback but not five-eight, something had to give.

Next year will be a nightmare. Berrigan versus Ennis, and Hunt versus Hodges...

Oh i think it does. He didnt have Langer at 7..he had Shane Perry and he proved all the "experts" wrong

He's just been the key player and a driving force both on and off the field behind Brisbane winning a premiership, all from 5/8 and that doesn't prove the move was a good idea? Lockyer could never have had as much involvment and influence on the side from fullback as he has had this year.

I agree with saab here, he was knocking him.

But at the time he was well off his best, and i find it quite funny that saab cant think of anything better to do than to look into threads a year old.

I am just putting balance into the force.

i still believe lockyer is 50 times the fullback that he is a 5/8. Hunt is an average fullback at best, even hodges is a better FB than him. I think the broncos would be a lot more dangerous in attack with Lockyer at 1, Hunt at 6 and Hodges at 3 or 4.

Mate for the "Test Fullback" to be shunted to the wing for the important games speaks for itself. I find it hilarious that broncos fans go on about him being the best fullback in the NRL when he is probably the 3rd best at the BRONCOS let alone the rest of the comp.

What Broncos fans have claimed him to the best fullback in the competition? I haven't seen any who have proclaimed him to be better than Minichiello in full flight, he only got the Aussie jumper due to his injury and he certainly won't be able to keep Inglis out of the Qld side in years to come. Better than Bowen though? Easily.

Please quote me where i have said he is the best?
Minichiello is the best fullback in the game with daylight second.

please quote me where i have said YOU are the one i was talking about, it was a generalization. maybe you are one of the few broncos fans who arent so one-eyed, if thats the case then thats great to hear as you are a rare breed.

Can't say i've ever noticed a Brisbane fan here proclaim Hunt as the best in the NRL - Slava and aliases being a possible exception.

FFS he's far from it at this stage of his career, everyone knows that.

Still, love to see some quotes to support this 'generalisation'. Even 1 will do I spose.
