I heard Ricko on talkin' sport yesterday arvo, and he sounded like he thought it was a joke when Hughesy started giving it to him.

Interesting to note, Ricky Stuart was keen to drop Ricko, pushing him to retire.

Why do most people believe everything that is written about the Roosters.

I bet they made up this story up, so they can be in the headlines again.

Roosters officials are probably reading all the replies & laughing their arses off.

Ricko told talkin sport that Ricky suggested he retire, or maybe start looking elsewhere. Ricketson said he never considered playing for another team in Australia, but he was thinking about going to England.
Onece Ricko picked up his game, Stuart then started talking about next year.
luke also said along the lines of it goes to show it doesn't matter who you are, you're not guaranteed a spot under Ricky.
The bit about him being a junior as a reason was obviously a joke. The rest ain't, unless an imposter was talking yesterday.

Yep it's true. During that period though Ricko wasn't playing well. He was falling off tackles and just didn;t look like the same player from last year.
But over the last two weeks he has come back. It's no co incidence that it coincides with his future being determined.

It's a bit sobering though to think that the only long term junior in the team was advised in other words to start packing 'cos of a form slump.
Probably good coaching, but it seems a bit, un-Australian. ;-)
