its like people say LOL say, so that some posters worthless creativity doesn't go to waste and so they that they don't feel worthless and inadequate....
Though I've picked up a nasty habit of using "lol" over the past several months I definitely feel "hahaha" is much more poignant. I also don't mind the odd "hehe" but I prefer that in emphasising the more mischievious statements. Running a distant last is Chuckles -> :lol: , especially when someone uses him to laugh at their own attempt at humour.
Yeah, Sandy. Good point. There's a distinct difference between "haha" and "hahaha". The first one can be used to mock people, a la Nelson from the Simpsons, although once it reaches three "ha"s it's most likely genuine amusement.
