St Helens revenue in financial year 22/23 was around $18mill. Given the SL grant is only $2million that's the sort of gap a London owner would need to look to fill. Lets say London could realistically raise 1/2 that revenue. (You'd have to think they'd be in the lowest end of sponsors and fans revenue for quite some time) Its a fair decent investment of $5mill+ a year to get near the top clubs!

The bottom half of super league are skint

That’s what they would be competing with

Not if we want London to be successful and long term viable. They need a winning well run club to crack the London market. To do that they will need to be competing in every facet with the top 5 or 6 SL clubs. That takes pretty big $'s.

They are currently a championship team which can’t afford to pay full time wages

With Brisbane investing them they become a super league level club

Broncos have never had great crowds ever ie over 5k average

Brisbane can help them do this

Plough lane is a tidy stadium probably the best they’ve had

I didn’t mind the stoop shame that never worked out

I didn't think it would happen, but now I think it will.
If Salford Red Devils are bought by a NRL club or people with a NRL connection it will confirm it in my eyes

Not saying West Tigers, but I would love it if a NRL club or people with a NRL connection took over the Salford Red Devils, as there is a huge untapped market of young athletes there who would make more than decent Rugby League players, and pad out NRL teams with the better one's.
